Hobgoblin Hill Puppets is a traveling troupe which began in 1987, founded by Alice Wallace of Lafayette, Louisiana.
Hobgoblin Hill Puppets has a host of hand-carved wooden puppets in authentic historic costumes.
The group has brought their zany creations to festivals, libraries, schools, and parties in Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, and of course Louisiana.
Hobgoblin Hill specializes in restoring forgotten historical puppet plays to their original glory, plays from Russia, Belgium, Germany, and England. We also perform famous fairy tales in our own goofy way, so kids will have a rowdy good time.
The group has brought quality puppetry to
festivals, libraries, museums, schools, parks,
zoos, and parties in Texas, Mississippi,
Alabama, and of course Louisiana.
The style of puppetry of the troupe is a wide
variety of humorous or satirical skits that will
appeal to both children and adults.
